The Culinary Centre "Nostalgie" is a restaurant to glorify the multinational culture and cuisine of the people who live together in the beautiful region of Niagara Falls.

Borscht is Ukraine’s national soup, made from a rich mix of vegetables, dried fruits, herbs, and seasonings. The word "borscht" comes from the Old Slavic "БЪРЩЬ," referring to a plant once used
in its preparation. First mentioned in 1584 by a German traveler in Kyiv, borscht has long been celebrated for its flavor and health benefits. In July 2022, UNESCO recognized the tradition of Ukrainian borscht-making as an intangible cultural heritage.
At our restaurant, you can savor authentic borscht made with over 18 ingredients, cooked in an oven using a classic 1950s recipe, served with traditional Ukrainian pampushka bread.
Борщ — національна страва України, приготована з багатьох овочів, сухофруктів, трав та спецій. Назва "борщ" походить від старослов’янського "БЪРЩЬ" — рослини, яку використовували для приготування цієї страви в давнину. Перша згадка про борщ датується 1584 роком, коли німецький мандрівник у Києві описав його як надзвичайно смачний і корисний суп. У липні 2022 року культура приготування українського борщу була внесена до списку нематеріальної культурної спадщини ЮНЕСКО.
У нашому ресторані ви можете скуштувати справжній борщ, зварений у печі за рецептом 1950-х років із понад 18 інгредієнтів, у парі з традиційними українськими пампушками.
